Health & Safety of Our People

The health and safety of our people is of utmost importance, always front of mind and central to everything we do at Flowlink.

Flowlink recognises our moral and legal responsibility to provide a safe and healthy work environment and welfare for employees, customers, and visitors.This obligation also extends to ensuring our business and its activities do not place any risk of illness, injury or damage on the local community or the environment.

We regularly review all our safety standards and procedures in order to maintain and provide the safest environment for our employees.

Aims & Objectives

  • Provide and maintain a healthy and safe workplace, plant, and processes.
  • Provide written procedures, instructions, and training to ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Ensure compliance to prescribed legislation, regulations and codes of practice and standards.
  • Persons engaged by us will receive appropriate and adequate training and instruction to enable them to conduct their task’s safety and efficiently.
  • No task is so important it cannot be done safety.

Responsibilities

We recognise that overall responsibility for workplace health and safety rests with management who will be accountable for the implementation of the policy. Responsibilities included are:

  • Ensuring all WHS policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Establishing targets and objectives that are measurable to ensure continued improvement (best practices) aimed at the elimination of work-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Provide adequate resources to maintain these WHS policies and commitments.
  • Staff also have the responsibility to follow all procedures and recognise, alert and act upon any hazards which may affect the health and safety of themselves, others, or the environment.
